DescriptionPROJECT CONTROLLER – LEIGHTON BUZZARD - £35,000 - £45,000 + BONUS
THE COMPANY
Based in Leighton Buzzard, our client is a well established market leader supplying high quality machinery to the food processing industry
With a reputation for excellent customer service, the company is experiencing continuous growth and now has this outstanding opportunity for a suitably experienced and proactive Project Controller to serve as the primary point of contact for all project related communication and to assume responsibility for monitoring and controlling the project lifecycle.
THE ROLE
As Project Controller tasked with overseeing the project lifecycle, responsibilities will include managing project risks and issues, tracking project finances and ensuring that project deadlines are met
This will require strong analytical and problem solving skills plus the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate internal sales projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that project objectives are met within the defined timeline and budget.
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and to a high quality.
* Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor and report progress to Senior Management.
* Establish and maintain project budgets and financial forecasts, and track and report project financials.
* Identify, evaluate and manage project risks and issues and execute mitigation
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, project plans and status reports.
* Ensure that project management best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
THE CANDIDATE
Ideally with relevant business administration qualifications, suitable candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software and possess project management experience, preferably in a sales environment, working with project management tools and methodologies.
A detail-oriented working style is, of course, required together with strong organisational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information at all levels, will be required as will strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
REWARDS
Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 [depending on experience] + attractive bonus potential
