Manufacturing Assosciate
Description✓Option A have partnered with Plexus in Kelso to help with the recruitment of manufacturing associates to join their rapidly expanding team!
✓Your role would be working within a team of manufacturing accociates helping to assemble electrical components to build finish products your tasks could potentially include:
✓* Operating of machinery
✓* Soldering of electrical components and boards
✓* Assembling of parts into finished products
✓* Keeping the work area clean and tidy
✓* The ideal canidate will have the following
✓* Basic computer Skills
✓* Strong attention to detail
✓* Flexibility to be trained and work in different departments
✓* Ability to use manual handling equipment
✓* Ability to lift and move equipment upto 45 pounds
✓The succsessful candidate will join the team on a permanent basis where they will recieve the necessary training to undertake their role.
✓The standard working hours are:
✓Monday to Thursday - 8am till 5pm Daily
✓Friday - 8am till 1pm
✓However due to the business needs their may sometimes be requirments to work early's backs and nightshifts which you will recieve an additional shift allowance for and on occassions when business needs are so there may be a 4 on 4 off continetal shift which will give a 40% shift allowance.
✓The starting wage for this role is set at the real living wage of £10.90 per hour with overtime anything after 39 hours at time and a half and if you work a Sunday you will recieve double time for this
✓Pay is reviewed yearly and depending on performance you can recieve additional pay on top of the basic rate.
