LV Cable Jointer
Description✓Our client based in Keighley is looking to recruit a LV Cable Jointer on a full time, permanent basis.
✓Duties include:
✓* C/O Live work
✓* Cut and Remakes
✓* Cutbacks
✓* New Services
✓* Excavation and Reinstatement
✓Key Responsibilities
✓* Work safely always wearing relevant PPE that is supplied.
✓* Assist the Installation of Electrical Infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard.
✓* Complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment.
✓* Act as a Competent Person on all sites
✓* Attend “toolbox talks” and other training courses as required.
✓* Record accurately details of work undertaken.
✓* Submit relevant work details for recording the required timescale.
✓* Any other duties as deemed appropriate.
✓Activities
✓* Manual Handling.
✓* Working on sites.
✓* Working in public highway
✓* Driving
✓* Identify and understand utility plans.
✓* Complete relevant paperwork to the desired standard and return in a timely manner.
✓Minimum qualifications / experience
✓* DNO Operational Authorisation
✓* NRSWA certificate for operatives [desirable]
✓* Full valid driving licence
✓The successful candidate will benefit from a very competitive productivity scheme and 30 days holiday a year [including bank holidays], flexible working hours and an extra week paternity leave after the statutory 2 weeks at full pay.
