IOS Sustainment Manager
Description✓We're currently recruiting for an IMOS Material Sustainment Manager to work in our Material Services department within Leonardo Helicopters
✓The role is vital in the delivery and management the material availability of an IOS.
✓The IOS contract provides an output performance based service to the UK MoD for through life of the platform normally contracted in price periods determined by the customer project team
✓IOS contracts are normally high value and a high percentage of the contract value relates to the Material Service element which, in turn, directly relates to the process that will be managed by the Availability Manager
✓It is therefore vital that this role is executed to the highest level of personal performance and is Customer service delivery focused.

✓Manage the analysis and planning to ensure the flow of materials into R&O is aligned with consumption rates to ensure serviceable stock is always available for the UK MoD to demand
✓Co-ordinate of any emergent arising's, to research and identify repair vendors with the procurement team or optimal inventory solutions
✓Develop and maintain the customer relationships required to support the delivery of the contract, ensuring a close liaison is established with management representatives within the customer domain
✓Provide turnover and growth as a result of excellent performance, through innovation of products, business processes and people
✓Oversee effective and efficient business processes designed to deliver company business plan requirements
✓Management and reviewing repair performance [at vendor and plant]
✓Identifying cost drivers and opportunities to both increase availability and reduce costs
✓Making advance purchasing decisions to support modifications/repair schemes
✓To develop and provide, world class, Logistic Support solutions, that meet or exceed our Customer expectations and provide growth opportunities for Leonardo Helicopters [LH]
✓Existing customers recognise as excellent and therefore wish to deal with us over a widening range of support services as their preferred supplier
✓Direct line reporting will be to the IMOS SLICT Manager and, when appropriate, will be required to deputise during periods of absence of the SLICT Manager
✓Managing the Sustainment of IOS in-scope equipment in accordance with the Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] and Measures of Effectiveness [MOEs]
✓Managing the implied contracted reported obligation, whilst ensuring optimisation of inventory
✓Engaging with both internal stakeholders and organisations to ensure timely delivery of the contracted service and outputs
✓The role demands that savings in cost either by reduction in material or better utilisation of resource must be achieved
✓Processes and procedures need to be made as efficient and effective as possible to also realise savings Show more →
