Electrical Assembler / Panel Wirer
Description✓My client in the Stockport area are looking for Electrical Assemblers / Panel Wirers.
✓Job Duties
✓Working to instructions and/or wiring diagrams/drawings.
✓Assembling, wiring, repairing and testing of electrical and electronic equipment including single phase motors and mid/low volume wiring assemblies.
✓Using hand/crimp/soldering/power tools and automated machinery.
✓Crimping, looming and cable terminating work on control panels
✓Accurately numbering, crimping and stripping of various cables.
✓Dealing with mid and low volume wiring assemblies.
✓Minor soldering.
✓Work in collaboration with Stores to ensure we have the right stock for projects.
✓General assembly tasks.
✓Completing work to a high standard.
✓Skills & Knowledge
✓Ability to read and understand electrical schematics / drawings.
✓17th or 18th Edition Electrical Installation Wiring Qualification.
✓Proven panel wiring experience.
✓A good standard of literacy and numeracy.
✓Good communication skills.
✓Able to work with minimal supervision and use initiative to resolve problems.
✓Able to work to specific deadlines and cope well under pressure.
✓Be neat and methodical in their work.
✓An understanding of the health and safety legislation.
✓Basic computer knowledge.
✓Working x 4 days [Monday to Thursday]
