Remarkable Jobs are currently working with an established AV Integration client, to recruit a Commissioning Engineer.
The successful candidate will be working within a busy team delivering solutions to the corporate / commercial market place.
‘Commissioning Engineer’ Key Responsibilities:
Commission and quality assure audio and audiovisual installations to an excellent standard
Producing system configuration documentation and ensuring fully operational audiovisual systems
To perform quality assurance checks on installations and identify any issues that need resolving, work in close collaboration with the AV installation team and the project manager to ensure they are resolved.
Responsible for fault finding and technical resolution during the commissioning phase, escalating to third parties where necessary
Able to advise on and assist the installation team with onsite pre-commissioning tasks such as cable terminations and rack-build work
To collaborate closely with the programmer, and in some cases the client, in order to establish and share the brief for the control systems.
Review and update system schematics, cable schedules etc.; create O&M documentation and ‘as built’ versions of the technical documents for future internal reference
Feedback to systems design team regarding products and design, and any other lessons learned on a project
‘Commissioning Engineer’ Key Skills:
Worked as a commissioning engineer with corporate/commercial clients and in multi-discipline project teams
An understanding of the end-to-end complexities of an audiovisual and video installation project
A proven track record in field-based audiovisual commissioning tasks, maintenance and operation
IT Network knowledge; an understanding of AV systems’ integration with existing IT systems is essential
The ability and presence to liaise with clients at senior level, external consultants, third parties such as main contractors, distributors and manufacturers and project consultants.
A selection of current, relevant industry manufacturer accreditations.
A full driver’s license
Valid CSCS or ECS, relevant health & safety accreditations
