CCTV Officer
Description✓We are currently recruiting a CCTV Officer for an initial 3-Month role based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
✓The post holder will be responsible for all operational management arrangements of several CCTV systems belonging to Community Safety and StreetScene and operational management of the Enviro-Crime Team within Community Protection.
✓Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility

✓To be responsible for all aspects of the operational management of the various CCTV Systems belonging to and used by the client
✓Collaborating and supporting with internal and external Partner Agencies to achieve the required outcomes.

✓To operationally manage the 'day to day' activities of the all CCTV systems under the direction of the responsible Community Protection Manager within Community Protection.

✓To facilitate requests from Tasking Groups requiring CCTV installs in ASB Hotspots
✓To manage CCTV inventory effectively and responding to urgent requests for installs expediently.

✓To record and audit how CCTV data is downloaded, managed and stored securely by trained and nominated Police users of CCTV systems
✓To provide ongoing training for officers as technology develops and act as a SPOC for technical/software related matters.

✓To carry out regular audits and review of all deployed CCTV to assess for continued compliance within the framework of accountability, transparency and guidance of relevant legislation.

✓To lead on, keep up to date, procure and implement any technological advances that would benefit the service long term for the upgrade of CCTV equipment and associated user software
✓To manage a rolling programme of repair of non-operational equipment and replacement of consumable equipment
✓To work with Equipment suppliers to road-test new products and equipment loan arrangements.
✓7.To manage the operational deployment and maintenance of concealed and lamp column CCTV units used for the detection ASB
✓To manage and audit all procedures in relation to rapid deployments.
