Assembly Operator
Description✓Japanese Manufacturing Company is seeking for Assembly Operator.
✓Assembly Operator: up to 28K
✓Cambridgeshire: On-site
✓Permanent
✓Main Purpose of the job:
✓Assemble and pack industrial controllers and other products
✓Test, fault find and repair [where applicable] products.Key Relationships:
✓Responsible to: Production Supervisor.
✓Liaison With: Production Team
✓Main Tasks of the job
✓* Conventional PCB assembly [plus SMT assembly for the right candidate]
✓* Electro-mechanical assembly
✓* Final quality inspection
✓* Accurate recording of data
✓* Material handling
✓* Operating test systems
✓* Quality Control as directed
✓* Pick and packing of goods
✓Key skills/experience required:
✓* Ability to use hand assembly tools is essential
✓* Good hand soldering skills is desirable, however training will be given
✓* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and work both independently and as part of a team
✓* Ability to follow assembly drawings and procedures is desirable, however full training will be given
✓* Flexible work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
✓* Good attention to detail, with a desire to maintain and improve quality standards
✓* Basic PC literacy [training will be given]
✓* Periodically the job is physical and involved repetitive lifting
