Agency Decontamination Engineer
Description✓Exciting Opportunity for an Agency Decontamination Engineer, 3-6 months, based near Brighton.
✓In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex mechanical/electrical plant and services that supply decontamination equipment.
✓As a Decontamination Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
✓• Execute planned repairs and maintenance on a wide range of intricate mechanical/electrical plant and services.
✓• Conduct regular testing and validation procedures in accordance with HTM guidelines and relevant standards.
✓• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and testing activities.
✓Plant Room Inspections and Repairs:
✓• Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms across our organization, promptly reporting any defects or failures to the Team Leader, and addressing faults when possible.
✓• Perform pipework repairs on steam and water subsystems, including Hot and Cold Reverse
✓• Provide general repairs and support to contractors and subcontractors when required.
✓Qualifications and Experience:
✓• Hold relevant mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications or possess equivalent experience.
✓• Demonstrate proven experience in maintaining and repairing complex mechanical/electrical plant and services.
✓• Familiarity with HTM guidance and other applicable standards.
✓• Possess exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
