The Service Transition team is responsible for sourcing and delivering learning opportunities for corporate customers and traded customers (such as schools), and we support a mixture of specialist business software and tools alongside industry standard personal productivity platforms.
We are looking for an excellent communicator who is creative, energetic and self-motivated and has experience of delivering training in a corporate environment. If you have SuperUser knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 end-user features, including accessibility features, and are confident with a range of devices such as Windows laptops, desktops and hybrids and iOS phones/tablets, this role could be perfect for you. You should also be completely comfortable with delivering both face-to-face and live online training and with creating written and video-based help and guidance.
Your initial focus will be delivering learning opportunities to introduce and reinforce the features of Office 365 and other complementary tools to our staff on a differentiated basis and through a variety of channels/media. As a key contributor to the Council’s ‘Digital Organisation Programme’, you will also help business areas to harness the potential of the Office 365 productivity platform and tools to improve their processes, collaboration and output. Another core aspect of the role is the day to day running of our internal IT & Digital Learning & Development programme.
As time progresses, you will have the opportunity to work with the implementation of a variety of other IT tools and systems and to develop a range of 'business as usual' support and training content to help people in their ongoing day to day work.Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
