Toolset Training Engineer
Would you like to work in a rewarding role within the Engineering Systems Competency Centre (ESCC), delivering existing training requirements across multiple engineering applications? We currently have a vacancy for a Toolset Training Engineer at our site in Samlesbury.
As a Toolset Training Engineer, you will be discharging the training activities on the F35 programme, and focus areas will be on-boarding and Toolset training, meeting the demands for upcoming business critical work expected in the 3rd quarter of 2020 and set to continue until at least 2023.
This role will give you the opportunity to work on a wide spectrum of training activities across multiple engineering applications, which encompasses multiple departments/disciplines (Security, Process, Training, Design, Manufacture, etc.)
Your main responsibilities as a Toolset Training Engineer will involve:
Discharging existing training courses
Analysing and assessing training requirements
Developing required training material
Maintaining the training environment
Providing ad-hoc training as and when required
Maintaining and understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
Modifying or creating course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs
Presenting in-person training sessions, monitoring training for effectiveness
Your skills and qualifications:
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Experience of CATIA 3D design software
Experience of using Teamcenter PLM
IT/Engineering background and/or qualifications

You will have good written and oral communication skills, as well as a knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
