We are inviting applicationsto fill the Sub-Specialty Training post vacancy at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust intheDepartment ofUro-gynaecology .This is a well-established and successful training programme which offers comprehensive training in all aspects ofUro-gynaecology .The post is recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for Subspecialty Training inUro-gynaecology. The post is open to Specialty Trainees(who hold MRCOG par II) and have completed 3 years higher specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The successful candidate will need to apply to their ‘parent’ deaneryfor an OOPT. The appointmentwill be subject to yearly assessment/appraisal.Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice at the time of application.Liverpool Women’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trustspecialise in the health of women and their babies - both within the hospital and out in the community. We are one of only two such specialist trusts in the UK - and the largest women’s hospital in Europe. Our team represents some of the most outstanding expertise and experience in the field. Our maternity team cares for women and their babies from conception to birth – delivering approximately 20 babies every day (8000 a year on average). Our neonatal team provide specialist care for premature andnew bornbabies. Our renowned Hewitt Fertility Centre helps families to improve their chance of conceiving babies. In gynaecology, we take care of women with the many varied conditions associated with the female reproductive system and are a renowned centre forUrogynaecology and Gynaecology Oncology.
