Bloomsbury is looking for someone to join Bloomsbury in the new role of D&I Manager to help create and lead a cohesive and identifiable D&I change at Bloomsbury with the support of the Executive Sponsor. The successful candidate will also support the growth and development of employees this role is also responsible for the administration and management of Bloomsbury’s core training activity. This role reports to Global Head of HR.  Responsibilities  Create and lead a cohesive and identifiable D&I change at Bloomsbury with the EC Sponsor Organise and chair regular meetings for the UK Employee Network leads, Activity Groups and D&I Group Members Work closely with Network Leads and group members to build on and deliver the Diversity & Inclusion Action Plans, facilitating connections between employees and external experts and support groups Design and deliver Diversity & Inclusion workshops, presentations and training Work with HR Advisors and Line Managers to ensure recruitment processes are accessible to all and encourage a diverse range of candidates Put strategies in place to ensure that diversity, inclusion and wellbeing policies are successfully communicated and implemented throughout the business Establish and deliver a D&I Events Calendar to recognise, promote and inform on D&I issues Create a Review Process for monitoring the change and improvements (i.e. regular surveys) as well as benchmarking performance vs the industry and competitors Initiate strategic D & I partnerships with external companies and outreach programmes Liaise with external providers to book employees on to approved training courses Identify and source external training providers as required A professional commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion Experience of delivering change initiatives in a business culture Cultural Sensitivity Clear in-person communicator, able to listen and build relationships with colleagues across departments/levels Chairing and facilitating meetings for groups of colleagues Clear written style for emails; updates and reports Able to collate views, ideas and feedback from group feedback and create action plans Designing and delivering short workshops/presentations and/or sourcing external partners to work with Able to connect with external organisations and individuals to create partner initiatives Experiencing of engaging/booking third party training providers Experience of training/learning events administration Applicants must have the right to work in the UK We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented in the creative industries.
