These roles can be based in either Warrington or Middlesbrough. You will be involved in the design and implementation of a wide range of systems to improve the performance of manufacturing and processing companies including plant management information systems, manufacturing execution systems, track and trace systems, airport information management systems, and OEE systems. You'll be involved in all aspects of projects from the initial requirements gathering, proposal production and the specification through to the design, development and installation of the solution. You will provide support to senior members of the engineering teams in ensuring the successful completion of projects, using a variety of manufacturers' software and hardware within various industry sectors, in line with the company Quality Management System. You.... You must have some knowledge of programming in VB.net, VB, C++ or C#. MS SQL. Oracle database knowledge and experience is essential. Web development skills and an understanding of business processes will also be beneficial. Ideal candidates will have completed either a computer, instrumentation, controls degree or gained more than two years' industry experience.
