Graphic Designer with Motion Design Skills


Location: Nottingham, we will need you to be within commutable distance to our Nottingham office or willing to relocate. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Graphic Designer with Motion Design skills to work for a leading insight focused creative agency, Together, specialising in Brand Development and Marketing Communications, Digital, Social and Film and Motion. Design/Creative Responsibilities: • Working closely with our Creative team to answer both digital and non-digital briefs • Meticulous QA and review of final output before presenting to the Creative Lead for client send-off • Managing and leading projects from brief to delivery, delegating where necessary whilst ensuring the Creative Lead is kept informed of the status of projects • Utilising conceptual and design skills to bring ideas to life and define an artistic direction • Shaping the details of projects by providing cutting-edge techniques and technologies • Great typographic skills and a meticulous eye for detail. • Strong conceptual thinking. • Experience working on both large and small projects with a keen interest in branding. • Ability to present work in a clear, confident and engaging way. • Can listen carefully and respond positively to feedback. • A pro-active, problem-solver. • You're comfortable working under pressure and have a 'nothing is impossible' attitude. • You're happy working independently as well as part of a team. • Knowledge of emerging trends in design and an eye for art direction. • Establish strong working relationships and relate well to people at all levels (colleagues, clients, suppliers and our audience). • You're organised and have great time management skills. • Contribute to and enhance the studio culture. Interpersonal Responsibilities: • Working with the Creative Lead to innovate the design concepts • Confidently pitching ideas to the internal team and clients during calls/workshops • Assisting the Creative Lead on defining timescales and costs for client projects • Being involved in and potentially leading ideation sessions with the rest of the team (storyboarding/concept development) General Responsibilities: • Managing deadlines and ensuring projects are delivered on time • Being observant of the needs and behaviours of staff members both within the Creative team and the wider company • Staying current with production tools and technological advancements Requirements Your background: • Ideally 3-years +, experience working in a similar role • Experience working within a design studio or creative agency • Experience in producing animations and content for social media • Previous experience working within branded content and advertising • Comprehensive understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro • An ability to produce storyboards and styleframes • A solid understanding of design theory, typography and art direction • Advanced working knowledge of industry renowned plugins • Skilled in character design, rigging and animation • Ability to design, develop and optimise visual assets for animation • Excellent ability to work from a client brief and within brand guidelines • Strong skills within compositing and finishing, including rotoscoping • Outstanding organisational skills and project housekeeping • Good communication skills (written & verbal) Benefits What you would receive in return from us: Competitive salary, dependent on your skills and experience (plus bonus subject to company performance) A creative workplace with colleagues passionate about their craft A workplace dedicated to supporting personal development and improvement 25 days' holiday per year and your birthday off (plus the 8 normal public/bank holidays) Regular socials and team away days Together is offering a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to join what is a forward thinking and nurturing leading insight led creative agency delivering amazing service and success to clients.
