The Global Mobility Team Leader role will be based at our London office.The global mobility function supports the management of employee movement across the globe. We achieve this by providing specialist knowledge and expertise to deliver development opportunities, solutions, advice, compliance and risk mitigation to our people and the business. Your responsibilities Allocate new assignments across the global mobility specialists, manage distribution of caseload and ensure the work is being undertaken correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure quality and accuracy of work undertaken within the team. Provide guidance and support to the mobility team on questions relating to mobility case management and escalation. Participate in the Mobility Leadership Team meetings and provide viewpoint for the GMS. Work with GBS hub and front offices to ensure efficiencies and best use of resources. Manage assignments, high-level or senior roles, Grades 1-7. Liase with KAMs in terms of mobility issues arising or happening in the globe and support mobility from the Division that is managed in a country. Ensure that the GBS can provide support for the mobility process and monitor service delivery in accordance with the pre-defined SLA. Manage exception requests to policy, within the defined parameters, and escalate where necessary – providing coordination with the Policy and Process role for tracking and maintenance. Be a key point of contact with the Global Expert Services for compliance support, management requirements etc. in combination with GM compliance manager. Involvement in Global Mobility projects – representation of mobility matters. Upskill and train specialists regarding new policy roll out or updated provisions. Vendor management relationship on a case-by-case level and instruction of providers and with support of Vendor Manager. Support HRBPs and the Talent team to manage the full assignment cycle for the Region including talent processes, salary review, etc. Provide forecast and demand requirements in terms of resource and resource planning. Provide reports and analytics on mobility effectiveness. Demonstrate a clear understanding of talent strategy and how it relates to mobility. Support role out and operationalization of end-to-end projects (Ex: new policy roll-out) and ensure GBS and GMS collaboration. Ability to provide support on other duties as assigned. Mentor and guide the global mobility specialists on upskilling and role development where needed. Your background Ability to direct others, priorities the team’s workload and support where necessary. Adequate experience to be able to operate at a senior level and influence key stakeholders. A strong knowledge of global mobility issues including: immigration, tax, policy development, cross-border working, compensation practice, benefit management and issue resolution. Good IT skills and the ability to manipulate data to report on trends and common themes. Should be comfortable working within an international environment and across diverse cultures. Excellent communication skills and a confident manner. Good organizational, planning and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask and priorities workload. Delivery focused and able to work to tight deadlines. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages preferable.
