Server Support Engineer Are you an experienced Server / IT Support Engineer looking to move into a more client facing role, supporting technical sales teams around authentication software integration? We are looking for that elusive mix of strong hands on technical skills (Linux (RedHat / Centos), Windows Server, networking) who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to deal with technical and non-technical clients. As the Server Support Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for setting up software tests, demos, proof of concepts, advising on how the authentication software can integrate into a client’s technical environment You will have excellent technical skills around support, administration and maintenance of Linux (RedHat and Centos), Windows Server, Networking. You will be ITIL Certified / trained and be looking for a position that is broader and more exciting than a standard internal support role. You will hold relevant qualifications and be a Computer Science / IT Graduate (or equivalent training). Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, you will be working with a sales team and will be trained on sales processes (this is not a selling role, but you must understand the cycle) There will be ad-hoc travel to customer sites as the role expands, so a driving licence is essential.
