Senior IT Support Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer Senior IT Support Engineer Heckmondwike Up to £35,000 Your new role Use Analytical fault finding to diagnose and resolve technical issues on Networks and Servers Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops and other Microsoft Server products eg Exchange, SQL, etc Perform Office 365 migration and administration Repair server, storage and end-point systems Communicate information to technical and non-technical users Successfully migrate/full install of Servers and pcs on customer sites Attend sales calls with a salesman acting as pre-sales technical specialist Experience needed A minimum of 5 years' solid experience in a Senior IT Engineer role A working knowledge of On Prem and Cloud backup/storage solutions A working knowledge of Windows server; Cloud computing A working knowledge of IT Security To be able to migrate/fully install both physical and virtual Servers remotely and on customer sites To have sound technical experience and knowledge of Microsoft Desktop, Microsoft Server operating systems, and other Microsoft products A working knowledge of VM Ware, Hyper-V A working knowledge of patch management products Excellent customer service skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Hands on Server, storage and end-point technology experience Hands on knowledge of managed and vendor WIFI solutions A working knowledge of Group Policies Hands on knowledge of Exchange Server including migration, on prem configuration A working knowledge of Active Directory including Domain Controllers, upgrades, etc. Any Microsoft qualifications would be beneficialHays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
