We have an exciting opportunity within the Placements team for Children's Safeguarding & Family Support for a Placement Support Coordinator
As a Placements Support Coordinator you will contribute to achieving improved outcomes for Children in Care delivering support to the Placement Team to ensure that best value is achieved and quality assurance is maintained regarding accommodation placements and related services purchased by the Council from Internal/ external service providers.
You will work closely with staff throughout the safeguarding & family support service and will need to work independently and as part of a wider team, using your initiative and communication skills in a fast paced environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and confident individual to join our fast paced team. You must be able to prioritise work, meet deadlines under pressure and deliver on your commitments. You will work well with other people, have excellent attention to detail and be committed to achieving the highest standards of quality and service completing key pieces of work which enable the Placements Team to contractually meet requirements and ensure children and young people’s placements are compliant with Hereford Council`s strategies and policies and maintain systems in place to monitor placements to ensure providers operate safe and efficient services.
The work involves issues of a sensitive and confidential nature and applicants will need to display a clear understanding of the need for complete confidentiality at both application and interview stage.
