The UK's leading provider of IT solutions and services is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer (Windows 8, Windows 10, XP, Network, Hardware) to be a part of a group of personnel working to provide support to users of existing services.

The Field Service Engineer (Windows 8, Windows 10, XP, Network, Hardware) will address issues with a supported service that have been identified to the Service Desk through the Incident Management process, effect changes to the supported infrastructure that resolve Incidents and Problems and assist with implementing new services to the customer and, when needed, provide information that can be used for Service Improvement.

Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer (Windows 8, Windows 10, XP, Network, Hardware)

• The job is required to provide first line service support for a range of communications equipment
• The primary focus of the roles is to provide an effective response to requests for service, Incident and Problem management activities.
• The activities will be primarily based on customer sites in the relevant service area
• Monitor Incidents assigned to them
• Maintain and report accurate incident status and investigation information to the Service Desk on a regular and timely basis
• Escalate Incidents, when necessary

• Hardware test and Measurement
• Windows XP Professional
• IP/Data Comms
• Customer Facing Skills
• Valid UK Driving licence
• Windows 2000
