We are currently supporting an innovative and well-established family-run SME, who are actively seeking a Project Management Assistant to join their team. You will help the Project Management team of x3 deliver projects and programs on time and on budget. You will also develop and implement detailed project plans that reflect core objectives, prevent risk, and deliver results.
Key duties and responsibilities...
Assist the Project Managers in administration and organisational matters
General administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, organisation, obtaining suppliers quotations, placing orders
Completion and updating of project information on project management software
Management of project related meetings (both internal and with clients)
Reviewing of risk and method statements and distribution to third parties where appropriate
Assisting with distribution of fabrication drawings for approval, collation of comments and liaison with customers
Set up and regular review of the Project File to ensure completeness and compliance. Assisting the Project Manager in maintaining contact with sites to arrange delivery of goods
Assisting with management of monitoring visits
Arranging fitting dates with sub-contracted fitters
Ensuring that projects remains on budget
Assisting the Project Manager with obtaining prices for products and services
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook in particular)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Administration skills
Pro-active and professional approach
Good telephone manner
Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
Experience within the construction industry is desirable
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm (1 hours lunch)
