Our client, a market leader within the Utilities industry, is looking to recruit a Policy Governance Manager on a Contract basis. The role will be sat within the Regulatory Procurement department. As a Policy Governance Manager, it will be your role to lead the Policy, Data and Governance team in the Commercial function under the Head of Regulatory Procurement. To support the Purchasing team in the absence of the Purchasing Manager and to be the Commercial Lead for the EU Exit work. Accountabilities Your role will be to lead the Policy, Data and Governance team and all that entails, such as managing BURA, engaging tax, interfacing with legal, owning the category management procedures and reporting packs from Commercial Intelligence team etc. The P&G Manager is also responsible for our USC & SRM approaches. Knowledge and Skills Previous Project Management experience - you will be required to manage a portfolio of projects Strong commercial awareness of supply chain or category management experience Experience of working in a heavily regulated industry sector A good understanding of Supplier Relationship Management and the associated processes is critical. Excellent Stakeholder Management skills Desirable Criteria Previous experience of working within a Purchasing or P2P environment and dealing with a variety of stakeholders and supporting a sourcing and commercial environment.
