This role is pivotal to the successful implementation of DWP Change Programmes and is a key strategic leadership role in the People and Capability Group in DWP. As with all the HRD roles there is an accountability for the development and deployment of people strategies and end-to-end HR systems and services to transform the organisation. This includes aspects such as strategic workforce planning, building capability, diversity, inclusion, talent management and reward; the emphasis is on organisational and culture change.
We are seeking strategic thinkers with a strong track record of delivering agile and effective HR solutions, building highly effective and trusted relationships at the most senior levels. You will bring demonstrable experience of collaborating across a challenging transformation agenda, using relationships and professional networks to add measurable value to the organisation. Experience of leading consultations with Trade Unions on change issues is also important but not essential.
