Mid/Senior Contracts Manager, EMEA We are looking for a Mid/Senior Contracts Manager to join our Legal team in EMEA. Location: Flexible (London or Maidenhead, England, or Paris, France or Frankfurt, Germany or Den Bosch, Netherlands) Language preference: Fluency in German and English What you’ll be doing: Draft, review, edit, negotiate and finalise customer sales, partner, procurement and other agreements including but not limited to NDAs, cloud subscription service agreements, statements of work, order schedules, data protection agreements, business alliance relationships, purchasing agreements, marketing agreements and software license agreements with customers and vendors primarily in EMEA to ensure compliance with company policies and risk tolerance, while working collaboratively with the business teams. Draft and review non-routine or specialised sales contracts, terms and conditions (depending on experience level). Assist in developing and maintaining contracts-related processes and procedures to scale with company’s growth, such as developing and maintaining playbook, standard forms, contracts database, etc. Collaborate closely with deal desk, finance, sales operations, security, procurement and other business units for approval of contractual terms and conditions on specific areas of expertise. Develop training materials and deliver training to internal teams on relevant topics such as the contracting process and Ironclad contract management. Demonstrate a Customer First mentality while assessing risk and providing recommendations to protect the company’s interests The role reports on a day-to-day basis to the Director of Legal, EMEA based in the United Kingdom, and ultimately into the VP of Legal, Anaplan, in the United States. More about you: Minimum of three (3)/ five (5) years of hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating NDAs, cloud subscription service agreements and related documents, and procurement agreements and related documents. Law Degree from an accredited law school preferred Experience in-house at a technology company or at a law firm directly supporting sales for a technology company is a MUST Fluent written and verbal English required, with strong preference for fluency in GERMAN as well. Fluency in any other languages is a plus. Experience in data protection laws and privacy requirements required Able to adapt legal requirements in a pragmatic way consistent with company objectives. Great teammate with strong eye for business and attention to detail. Highly motivated self-starter, who excels in a fast-paced, time pressured and demanding environment. Able to successfully manage results-oriented priorities and work independently on a wide range of issues and projects, while delivering quality work. Ironclad contract management and Salesforce CRM experience preferred. Excellent negotiator and communicator, able to effectively explain issues externally and internally, including across departments, with strong interpersonal skills.
