Job summary The Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Business Finance team is looking for an experienced Anaplan Model Builder to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain EMEA sales planning models within Anaplan. You'll need to have excellent analytical skills and you should be able to translate the financial or corporate planning design requirements to enterprise models with associated modules, lists and line items, and calculations as supported by the Anaplan platform. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Primary job responsibilities Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, and other model settings to meet business requirements Identify requirements for design and build, establish, and govern best practices in model building and share your learnings across wider Business Finance team(s) Perform extract-transform-load (ETL) between Red Hat-specific datasets and Anaplan; monitor data flows to and from the Anaplan platform to ensure that all data is up to date and accurate Apply your knowledge of data preparation activities like extraction, cleansing, aggregation, and data analysis Work on ad hoc reporting requests and maintain data quality of production and ad hoc reports; work on break fixes and enhancement requests Develop documentation for delivered solution, assist in all phases of testing and provide hands-on training to end users on Anaplan models Communicate and collaborate with team members across locations to accomplish project goals Apply your good communication, presentation, and articulation skills in both verbal and non-verbal communication Required skills Experience working on Anaplan and proficiency in writing Anaplan logic; overall knowledge of database concepts Experience participating in the full project cycle from requirement gathering to project monitoring and evaluation Knowledge of programming, scripting, or writing database SQL code Ability to work on your own on project goals, consulting with project managers and stakeholders where necessary Prior experience with financial planning, sales planning, or business consulting is a plus Good troubleshooting skills, the ability to think through issues and problems in a logical manner, and planning knowledge are a plus About Red Hat Red Hat is the world's leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver reliable and high-performing Linux, hybrid cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
