Commercial Director - Housing Groundworks Commercial Director - Housing Groundworks A respected Groundworks contractor based near Warrington is searching for a Commercial Director to join their business. The company has been operating for over 30 years and undertakes a variety of Groundwork Projects across the North West, that include the construction of roads and sewers for commercial and housing developments.Responsible for the management of the commercial team, reporting to the Managing Director * Complete appropriate tender processes, ensuring our estimating procedure is adhered to * Liaise with the client and management team from project conception to completion, ensuring good working relationships * Ensure appropriate controls are established and monitored on all contracts, to guarantee the achievement of profitability and cash generation * Accurately forecast the project outturn through reconciliation of labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and preliminaries * Ensure accurate production of external valuations, claims and variations * Pursue payments in accordance with contractual provisions * Produce accurate management account information as required * Ensure that subcontracts are administered with appropriate noticing and written documentation in place, as the contract requires * Authorise payments to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with the contract and relevant proceduresOn offer is an excellent salary and an opportunity to work with a leading Groundworker.
