This role will provide support to the Community Fundraiser in your area and is crucial to the success of the Regional Fundraising team. \n \nThis is an ideal role for someone who has excellent communication skills, is friendly and approachable and who is comfortable using their own initiative as well as working with others.\n \nWith the support of your Community Fundraiser tasks could include:\n Contacting stores in your local community to book in collection days or placing collecting tins in various premises Ensuring correct licences are gained for public street collections where appropriate Arranging and managing a team of volunteers to help man collections Keeping accurate records to liaise with Community Fundraiser Ensuring monies raised are given to the local Alzheimer's Society office for banking and thanking Keeping sites informed of other Alzheimer's Society activities where appropriate
