Westcon-Comstor is recruiting an experienced Cyber Security Vendor Manager to join our Westcon EMEA team. Expanding our central team this is a critical senior role within our organisation working alongside some of our key enterprise Account Directors. This is a great opportunity to work with one of our very successful Security vendor Palo Alto Networks.We are seeing significant growth and therefore looking for a PANW NGFW (Strata) Vendor Manager to plan, manage and grow sales in the largest technology space and to continue to ensure success in terms of Westcon revenue and profitability. In addition the PANW Global Vendor Manager will plan, manage, align, collaborate and grow sales in our Global Customers across all Westcon entities in EMEA. The overall aim of both roles is to own the relationship into Palo Alto Networks, across the Westcon group internally and deliver GTM strategy, value and results on specific technology or across the whole Palo Alto Networks portfolio.You will need work in collaboration with EMEA Commercial Services Director, EMEA Training & Support Directors along with our dedicated Marketing Department along with other departments to build, develop, expand and execute compelling solution propositions, initiatives and programs for Westcon-Comstor PANW Central Team, deliver the message, collateral and be able to communicate this detail clearly and effectively at all times with regularity, clarity, and cadence.EMEA travel should be expected (when permitted). You need to be based in the South East, UK.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Work closely with your Vendor Senior Partner Manager and our Global team to plan out and create an Enterprise business development plan that will increase sales of services* Understand the Vendor's business including core strategy, financial performance, business/growth goals* Position Westcon to become the trusted adviser to senior decision makers within your Vendors to the point where they are receptive to receiving our advice on the strategic direction of the business in their particular markets.* Help establish expansion of Vendor coverage across EMEABusiness Management* Identify ways to build margin by means of bundling and developing new propositions* Assist where necessary with special orders* Manage product updates/releases and price changes* Work in a forecast orientated environment* Adapt to specific KPIs and goals and objectivesMarketing* Work with full Marketing Team, Vendor to develop compelling programs and initiatives* Produce regular marketing bulletins to communicate all product, service, pricing and promotional activity* Provide internal updates on a regular basis* Assist with customer events as necessaryAdministrative/Self Development* Maintain regular vendor review meetings and subs* Present senior management with relevant reports and analysis* Provide monthly reports* Provide input to training and workshop materials where necessaryPERSON SPECIFICATION* Well organised and methodical approach to work - able to multi-task* Appreciation of critical timescales and the impact of delay on client perception* Credibility both internally and externally - with colleagues, partners and customers* Energy, drive and ambition to achieve business targets* Excellent communication skills including management exec level presentation* Self-starter, credible, highly professional, and comfortable in dealing with individuals at senior levelsQUALIFICATIONS* At least 3 years relevant working experience selling Cyber Security preferably with Palo Alto Networks knowledge or from a Global Account background. You should have already demonstrated successful partnership with resellers in the IT channel at a country or preferably at a European or EMEA level.* Technical background and experience with technology* Channel; Distribution, Systems Integrator or Vendor background* Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management* Graduate degree in business, computer science or engineering* Extremely strong written, verbal and communication skills (including proposal writing and presentation building)* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to team with Sales, Technical, and Operations resources* Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to do quality work under tight deadlines* Able to manage a frequent travel schedule.Join a growing global businessWestcon-Comstor is a leading name in IT distribution with US$4.35 billion in global revenues.
