Third Party Stakeholder Manager

Job Category: Engineering Job Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom Description of Activities to be undertaken
- Deliver the discharge of legal obligations contained within the stakeholder agreements/ HS2 Act, including asset protection agreements
- To act as main point of contact for managing third party agreements with statutory bodies with a key Focus on Network Rail.
- Attend meetings with Third-Parties on behalf of the client and submit applications for works to commence within agreed frameworks. E.G. submissions of RAMS/Works Package Plans for Network Rail for working on the railway.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, consent granting bodies and supply chain
- Provide support to and work alongside the U&A/Consents Team Managers and Work Package Manager
- Work with the Work Package Managers (WPM) to identify Third Party Agreements/ U&As commitments for their scope of works, as well as supporting on associated Consent requirements
- Support WPM's in developing budgets for any Third-Party Agreements identified in work packages
- Support the WPM and supply chain to deliver the commitments in the Third-Party agreements into their works and provide evidence of compliance
- Create opportunities to make efficiencies and deliver innovation in the approvals process
- Liaise with Employers Land and Development team for access arrangements associated with third party agreements
- Monitor and track third party agreements/ APAs/ PPAs approvals progress
- Investigate and provide information for non-compliance
- Carry out weekly reporting highlighting risk, and update progress of approvals process
- Carry out inspection and audit regime on third party requirements
- To carry out any other duties appropriate for a job of this nature Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role
- Educated to degree level, ideally with 2 years post qualification experience, some of which should have been gained working in a similar sector
- Techniques and issues involved in the planning and construction of major infrastructure projects including; Railway and Construction industry, Legal, Town Planning, Highway, Environmental or Archaeological consideration
- Excellent communication, personal planning and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Experience in a similar role, working with statutory bodies
- Experience with Network Rail and their processes would be highly valued
