Our mission is to build earth's most customer-centric ad supported premium free video service and make it convenient for hundreds of millions of customers to enjoy. Amazon is seeking a Senior Content Acquisition Manager who can lead our content expansion on free ad-supported live, linear channels in the UK, for Amazon's newest video business.You will work in a highly collaborative environment, and be responsible for key aspects of the business including contributing to the linear channel content strategy, negotiating deals with content partners and collaborating with marketing and product to drive customer and engagement growth.You will be part of the broader team building a free, ad-supported service that customers will love. In this role, you will design and execute a strategy to secure live and linear streaming channels from rights holders for our service.Responsibilities· · Drive and execute the content acquisition strategy for IMDb TV UK's linear channel program· Develop and document acquisition plans, financial metrics and goals for senior management· Use customer behavior, usage and consumption data to inform decision-making· · Build and manage relationships with senior-level leaders at content providers· · Collaborate with internal teams across all functional areas within IMDb TV· BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Experience in an account management, licensing or business development role· Experience using Tableau and Excel· Experience with SQL· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent· Multiple years of experience in media content deals and/or business development PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Knowledge of digital video landscape· Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations· Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions· Experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables· Solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies and rights holders· Ability to work with and influence peer teams internationally· Commercial thinking with confident analytical and problem solving skills· Able to understand product and technical requirements and interface with Product/Technology teams.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
