Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and proactive Patient Services Manager to share our commitment to delivering high quality services and urgent care to our expanding patient list of currently 20,700 patients. Reporting to the Practice / Business Manager, we are looking to recruit an experienced Patient Services Manager who will be responsible for the management of the Patient Services Team and function. The successful candidate should have experience of working within a similar role, preferrably within a healthcare environment with excellent IT skills, meticulous attention to detail and ideally a working knowledge of medical terminology. Experience of working in General Practice and knowledge of EMIS Web and Docman 10 is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. As a Patient Services Manager you will be supported and encouraged to develop your skills to complement our existing team and be open to new and progressive ways of working. We are a friendly, busy and successful GMS training Practice in a newly expanded and pleasant location in Reigate, close to excellent schools and transport links. We have three GP partners,nine GP associates, four advanced nurse practitioners and prescribers, six nurses, two healthcare assistants and one full time clinical prescribing pharmacist (plus PCN pharmacist) supported by a highly skilled patient services and administration team (including processing clinical correspondence using workflow optimisation). We use EMIS Web, Docman and GP TeamNet and we are paper light. As a training Practice, and in collaboration with our Primary Care Network Partners, we provide and promote regular educational opportunities.
