Adult Acute Mental Health & Learning Disability Service Delivery Unit Based: Holt Ward Deputy Ward Manager RMN Band 6 37.5 Hours per week Are you motivated, enthusiastic and want to make a real difference? We provide a specialist Inpatient service for adults with mental health needs across 3 inpatient wards and 2 rehabilitation units. Our teams sit within the Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Service Delivery Unit. Due to retirement we are looking for a dynamic, motivated and passionate person to join us as a Deputy Ward Manager on Holt Ward . Holt Ward sits in our Inpatient pathway and is the admission unit that covers the county of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Holt Ward is 16 bedded mixed gender treatment ward that is situated in Worcester. Holt Ward takes admissions which are gate kept through the crisis team and admissions come from a number of sources in the community, where the patient risk profile cannot be managed safely at home or in the community setting. As one of the Deputy Ward Managers you will work very closely with the other Inpatient Wards, Complex Discharge facilitator, Home Treatment Teams and the Crisis Resolution Team. Part of your role is to ensure patient care is of the highest standards, you act as a role model at all times and use your initiative to maintain quality and safety. Alongside an already established management team you will assist in supporting and educating junior staff.
