Colleague Resourcing Manager

Job Category: Personnel/Recruitment Job Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom We are currently recruiting for a Colleague Resourcing Manager, who will operate in a multi-disciplined capacity including recruitment support to the business, developing pre-employment training programmes to aid candidate attraction, account management of external partners and provide expertise on government-funded training initiatives. The role requires an understanding of government policy which could impact Cordant's ability to attract and retain talent. Including unemployment rates, local and national training initiatives created by The Education and Skills Funding Agency, DWP, European Social Fund, Devolved Combined Authorities or the Institute for Apprenticeships. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide expert support to the business and Cordant clients to engage in pre-employment training and skills attainment in the workplace including Apprenticeships. Drive business engagement and understanding of programmes and initiatives available. Support the management of the Collaboration Partnership Network. Identifying and implementing solutions that will aid candidate attraction and provide opportunities to offset the cost of training or generate revenue for the business. Account Management of external partners including DWP, charities, training providers and community groups. Conduct regular reviews with partners to identify gaps between expectation and delivery. Continually developing relationships with a focus on decision-makers and influencers and adapting solutions where necessary. Provide feedback and job outcome data to partners on programmes, ensuring compliance with SLA's. Produce reports and forecasts for partners to maximise the number of programmes operating. Produce, maintain and execute operational plans, meeting notes and audit trails to ensure compliance, performance and knowledge share is exceptional. SKILLS Strong listening skills and the ability to respond to challenging situations. Develop trust and long term partnerships whilst working collaboratively with stakeholders. Provide impartial advice. A robust understanding of government policy relating to unemployment and skills development. Knowledge of health and safety, risk assessments and procedures. Decision maker, understanding factors quickly and accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships at a variety of levels. Commercial and analytical experience. Proficient IT skills. EXPERIENCE Demonstrable experience in recruitment, business development, account management and customer service. Experience of working with external/agencies partners. Understanding of funded training provision and government policy relating to unemployment and skills development would be advantageous. Track record of delivering significant and sustainable business results. Ability to multitask, adequately prioritise a busy and demanding workload across multiple locations. Proven record of working with candidates from a diverse background. Ability to developing senior-level relationships.
