Senior Performance Analyst - – Global COO – London London (UK) Senior Performance Analyst – Global COO – London The Role We are looking for an experienced Performance Analyst to join our Equity, MAF and Real Assets Performance Team The Team We are responsible for calculating investment performance and analysing the drivers of returns. We cover all asset classes, fund and client types across AI. This involves managing the flow of a substantial amount of data from Fund Accountant and Index providers, through in-house and external systems, to produce detailed investment performance outputs used widely across the business. Responsibilities • Taking responsibility for an assigned area within the Performance Team (typically aligned to an investment department); including relationship building, reporting and service development. • Converting the investment strategy into meaningful analytical output to support portfolio managers. • Developing and delivering attribution reporting to be utilized by investment professionals, product teams and external customers • Producing high quality standard performance attributions and client reports to meet daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines. • Providing accurate and timely performance measurement data (also responding to ad hoc queries), primarily for Multi Asset funds. Requirements • Passionate about delivering performance insight, attention to detail and quality in every aspect • Knowledge of both the theory and practice of performance measurement, attribution analysis and ex-post risk for Equity and Multi Asset portfolios • Good quantitative skills and intermediate/advanced level of Microsoft Excel (ideally VBA knowledge). • Willing to and able to connect with people and build extensive professional relationships across all areas • Strong planning, organization and execution skills • Focused on continuous improvement, quality and delivery • Intermediate understanding of front office and marketing requirements. • Working experience of an Operations / Back Office environment (including Corporate Actions) with a focus on data and reporting. • Experience of project environments is helpful. • A great team player who will get involved – willing to help and mentor others. • Systems: B-One, Aladdin, Morningstar, Lipper About us We are proud to be a different kind of asset manager; our intelligent and innovative solutions are based entirely around our clients’ needs, not ours.
