The EMEA Market Risk Management Division is responsible for the independent identification, analysis, reporting and escalation of all market risk exposures arising from EMEA and UK Group business activities, acting independently of business management and providing an effective challenge process.
Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Vice President to serve as COO, reporting to the Deputy EMEA and UK Group Head of Market Risk. The candidate should have strong communication and organisational skills. Core responsibilities include:
? Help ensure the EMEA and UK Group Market Risk Department is run efficiently and effectively
? Review and input into the MRD Policy and Procedure framework to ensure ongoing appropriateness
? Delivery of the regional MRD Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) including co-ordination with Global and Regional equivalents
? Oversee engagement in Audits and other process validation
? Maintenance and Testing of Business Continuity Plans
? HR planning and development (including onboarding/off boarding, headcount tracking, training, talent development)
? Develop materials for business plans, offsites, townhalls, Board and Senior Management updates as required
? Maintain oversight of the Outsourcing framework
? Maintain oversight of budget
? Contribute and or lead other initiatives as directed by local management team
