Registered Branch Manager - Learning Disabilities


Job Category: Other Job Location: Croydon, Greater London, United Kingdom Domus have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager within the Health and Social Care sector to join a national care provider who support adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. This is an exciting new role that involves multi-site management of services across Kingston, Crawley and Hove, with the office being in Croydon. You must be prepared for some travel within this role. You can be based out of any site or the office, with the office is used for admin and audits/ admin roughly once or twice a week. The organisation currently have some growth in Hove, with a new service opening up in January, then some further growth in Crawley! We are looking for ambitious Service Managers to promote a person-centred approach in all aspects of the support offered. You must have experience within Domiciliary Care, or multi-site management within Supported Living services. Key responsibilities of a Registered Branch Manager: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide clear direction and be responsible for the day to day management of the service including management and supervision of a great staff team. Key responsibilities will include financial and health and safety management to fulfil statutory obligations. You will implement systems and procedures designed to promote positive outcomes for disabled people, ensuring a flexible, proactive approach whilst meeting the desired outcomes of the people supported. You will also manage the recruitment, selection and on-going training, development and performance of all staff in the service, to ensure achievement of national minimum care standard requirements. Oversee all aspects of the services, to ensure the delivery of excellence in Care. Key requirements a Registered Branch Manager must have: Commitment to delivering high quality care to adults with Learning Disabilities Previous managerial experience in Supported Living or Domiciliary Care setting Strong working knowledge of care standards and regulations Have a Registered Managers Award plus Level 5 diploma or be willing to work towards Excellent organisational and communication skills Reliability and being approachable Strong leadership skills able to manage multiple sites Cold Harbour or similar system experience essential.
