The Role

We have created this role to help develop our control and reconciliation processes around a key and complex Balance Sheet account.

The successful candidate will be part of a project group, reviewing financial processes in our dental practice network and establishing a full understanding of the downstream accounting impacts to the General Ledger.

The ideal candidate will get excited about delving into the detail, will be ready to investigate anomalies, think outside the box about how they can be resolved and how processes can be refined for the future. You will have worked in a project environment before and will be able to demonstrate what you have achieved within the projects you have worked on.

A methodical and analytical mind is required. This role is perfect for the inquisitive, data driven person who likes to problem solve and enjoys a sense of achievement when something is completed.

We will need somebody who has had experience in a reconciliation environment before and has experience working with high volume reconciliations. Advanced knowledge and commercial experience of Excel is required. Experience on Finance systems is also essential.

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Part Qualified with a professional accounting body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

* Understands the interaction between the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet

Desirable

* Experience in a multi-site environment

* Experience of complex, high volume reconciliations.
