Your Team Our Global Corporate Credit Research team has been growing over the last few years and will continue to grow, with Investment grade being the largest part of this business, followed by Emerging Markets. In the last few years, our Emerging Markets team has performed particularly well, with fixed maturity products achieving the best results. As Senior Credit Analyst for Emerging Markets, you will be supporting all Emerging Markets portfolios, and report to the Head of Global Corporate Credit Research. The role will have global coverage. Your Role As Senior Credit Analyst – Emerging Markets on our Invesco Fixed Income Emerging Markets team, you will play an important role in analysing credit-related investments to support individual securities and strategic positioning across Invesco’s suite of global fixed income mandates, with a focus on Emerging Markets. The role requires the ability to make investment recommendations on corporate bonds and provide sector level insight for the benefit of the broader platform. You will be responsible for: Provide well developed credit-related investment recommendations to assist positioning in Invesco’s Global Fixed Income portfolios. Use Invesco’s proprietary investment platform to record and update all investment views Assist in monitoring performance and pro-actively review investment recommendations to produce consistent long-term results Interact with clients, brokers and consultants to promote Invesco Fixed Income products Examine and monitor legislative, regulatory and economic developments across industry sectors, assisting the investment decision-making process. Serves on investment committees and other committees as needed Analyse and model financial data, proactively use information and contribute to investment thinking within the department and ensure own best ideas are represented in the Funds. Attend company meetings, and monitor company results and performance to help identify opportunities and risks within the portfolios. The skills and experience you’ll bring You will: Have strong product knowledge of Global IG, HY & EM non-financial corporates (heavy industries, energy, commodities). Significant experience with top tier asset manager / proven industry experience. Extensive knowledge of global fixed income markets and relevant data applications eg Bloomberg/Excel Educated to degree level.
