Team profile: The Credit Derivatives Trade Support Group is a team of 7 covering the Investment Grade, Index, Index Options, High Yield, Emerging Markets and Sovereign businesses. This group provides important controls to ensure that P&L generation and risk is accurately captured on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be in constant liaison with Trading and Sales to ensure all trades are correctly booked in the risk system. TSG are the conduit for all post execution trade flow downstream to various other operational departments. The candidate will also work with IT and management to improve systems and processes with a view to constantly improving controls and efficiency. At the forefront of the teams focus is the incorporation of current industry initiatives and best practices (e.g. Clearing and compression related activity). Primary Responsibilities: - Trade Capture - Ensuring trader's is risk is correct and investigating breaks - Understand what contributes to trade P&L and ensuring its validity - Understanding STP flow of trades and investigating issues - Liaising with global teams to challenge processes/controls and improving or implementing wherever possible - Reconciling broker trades - Managing CREDTA group email inbox, investigating issues, and giving timely responses - Internal & external compressions - Adhoc trader requests/queries - Adhoc operational projects   Qualifications Qualifications/skills Required: - Proven Operations experience in a financial services institute - Basic knowledge of OTC derivatives - Intermediate/advanced Excel skills Skills Desired: - Strong work ethos - Good Communication skills - Attention to detail. - Inter personal skills. - Problem solving - Ability to multitask and take the initiative. - Ability to work well under pressure.
