Finance Application Support Analyst


To provide support and problem resolution for financial applications.Job title:Finance Application Support Analyst:We’re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We’re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.Help strengthen our Application Support Team as a Finance Application Support Analyst - Home Based / Letchworth Security Clearance - You must be eligible to successfully obtain SC level Clearance. You’ll be providing 2nd Line application support and problem resolution for suite of financial applications for the Integra Suite of Packages. Integra is fully integrated finance application consisting of individual modules, e.g.  P2P, Stock Control. Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Sales Ledger, Expenses, Document imaging, Interface modules.What you’ll be doing:Logging the issues raised by clients, gaining understanding the issues and providing a positive resolution, in a professional, structured and timely manner.Working on multiple cases and prioritise incidents in the queue.Client case investigation may involve logging onto client sites remotely, interrogating client’s database and extracting data.Correcting data via SQL scripts.Escalating issues as required through to the development team through Problem ManagementMeeting Individual KPI’s and Overall Team Targets, to ensure adherence to Client’s SLA agreementsEnsuring that the Customer Services system(ServiceNow)  is updated with accurate information for activity on all cases. Creating known knowledge articles for issues.Keeping informed of new product releases/functionality.What we’re looking for:Proven experience in application support and financial applicationsExperience of implementing and/or supporting a financial system such as SAP, Sage, etc.Technical skills - Oracle and SQL ServerUnderstanding of accounting software and business processes.Knowledge of Accountancy Application SoftwareExperience in procurement, understanding of purchase ordersKnowledge of Microsoft productsWorking as part of the Customer Services team – supporting clients across UK/IrelandPleasant disposition with excellent and effective verbal/written communication.Excellent proven analytical skills, with attention to detail.Ability to organise and prioritise work in an effective manner, to ensure deadlines / KPI’s are met.IT Degree or Accountancy Degree (with IT exposure) desirableAbout Capita At Capita Integrated Business Solutions, we’re transforming the way businesses manage their finances.
