We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Serve as Governance, Risk, Control and MI Subject Matter Expert for the UK Bank
Oversight of internal and external vendors through the review of SLDs and activities outside of the scope of the Outsourcing / TPG team
Maintain an understanding of EBA guideline requirements and ensure compliance from the perspective of the legal entity in conjunction with the framework and line of business owners.
Provide first Line of defence controls - Work with the business control functions to ensure existing legislation, regulatory announcements and industry practices for the first line of defence requirements are met
Responsible for the High Level Assessment and Risk Appetite statement working in conjunction with second line Risk.
Represent the UK entity in CASS matters, receiving MI as it relates to the UK Bank and following up on matters and engagement as required.
Represent the UK bank in other forums and committees as directed eg the RMC
Develop comprehensive management information that supports the UK Bank governance, risk and control environment;
Coordinate the completion of outstanding Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring points for the UK Bank
Participate in cross-entity initiatives such as conflicts of interest, inducements, resiliency and other initiatives, as required.
Assist other entities where additional support may be required as directed by the CEO
Robust risk and control, governance, and/or compliance experience gained in the 1st or 2nd Line of Defence roles
Good understanding of operational risk tools, control frameworks and taxonomy
Solid understanding of an entity’s risk and control environment
Experience with metrics and data analysis
Delivery focused, with proven track record of delivering on expectations
Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying scope and complexity in a cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated ability to work, collaborate and lead effectively.
Confident, self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and attention to detail.
