About the role

The world is undergoing a radical transformation. The lines between work and life are becoming more blurred and Perkbox is at the core of this transformation. As a brand team, our priority is to help and guide HR leaders and professionals to make the best decisions for their workforce to ensure employees are happy, healthy and productive (and have a lot of fun as we do it).

As our Copy Writer, you’ll be working with a close-knit and multi-functional brand team, whose main functions are to act as an internal agency for Perkbox, meet marketing SLA’s and build on our brand reputation. We’re made up of three creative disciplines: design, video and copywriting and we work closely with the entirety of the marketing team made up of campaigns, digital, and customer engagement disciplines.

In this award winning team, you’ll get the opportunity to create, evolve and shape a wide range of content, including:

  • Thought leadership content
  • User engagement content
  • Customer content
  • Social media content
  • Advertising
  • Product content
  • Sales enablement content
  • SEO content

On a day to day you can expect to be:

  • Researching and keeping up to date with the current landscape
  • Planning and preparing webinars with stakeholders – and the opportunity to host if that’s your jam!
  • Working closely with the rest of the go-to-market functions to produce sales enablement materials
  • Working closely with product marketing to produce product content around new features and functionality
  • Working closely with PR and customer success on producing case studies
  • Dealing with ad-hoc copy requests
  • Writing briefs for the brand team, proofreading and uploading content to our website

We support marketing, product, sales and customer success across a range of formats and channels, including blogs, guides, emails, social media, checklists, brochures, posters, video scripts, website copy, webinars, and any other innovative ways you can think of!

Although we’ve been working remotely for almost a year, collaboration is still an important part of our every day. We meet up every morning for a chat, do our planning meetings weekly and love a good brainstorm. You’ll have the agency to bring your thoughts and opinions to every project - there’s no such thing as a stupid idea!


About you

Reporting into the Head of Brand, you’ll be an exceptional storyteller who is excited about executing on high quality written content, but also bringing your own ideas to the table. You’ll be the go-to person for marketing to rely on and trust for engaging content and you’ll be interested in perfecting and tweaking your style as you grow.

You will naturally love to brainstorm, collaborate and learn. More than anything, you’ll be curious to consistently think of new ways of doing things and disrupting the market. You’ll appreciate giving and receiving feedback – and most importantly, know the difference between a hyphen, an en dash and an em dash!

You’ll need:

  • Exceptional writing/ storytelling skills
  • Ability to translate abstract concepts into captivating content
  • Razor-sharp proofreading abilities – often at short notice (more often than not)
  • Prioritisation skills, working on multiple projects at once
  • Experience positioning products/features in a b2b setting
  • A proactive and autonomous mindset
  • A bit of humour!

It would also help if you have:

  • Experience in content planning (assisting the content lead)
  • Written case studies
  • Understanding of SEO writing principles or have a desire to learn
  • Proven experience in creative campaign writing
  • Experience in writing ad copy for different online and offline channels
