POSITION: Junior Project Designer- Lighting

SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, bonus between £4,000 - £9,000 depending on performance.

A Junior Project Designer position has arisen with a company who specialise in manufacturing and supplying a wide range of Lighting into wholesalers, distributors, Contractors, Architects and Designers. They are looking for a creative, target driven Junior Project Designer to join their team. The company will be giving full training and will put the successful candidate through their LIA course.

The ideal candidate would need to be based around the Swindon, Wiltshire area as they will be office based in Newbury on a day to day basis except for site visits on their patch in the South West.

Your main responsibilities as a Junior Project Designer will be to increase sales within your allocated region by managing new and existing relationships with Contractors, Architects and Designers within your region as well as locating and engaging with prospective customers and promoting the brand. You will work in partnership with the Business Development Manager who will provide you with leads for projects by undertaking site visits or meeting with clients (Contractors, Architects and Designers) for project specification.

To be suitable for this position as a Junior Project Designer you must have 2 years' experience in Field Sales or at least two years' experience working as a Project Manager, this role would also suit someone who works within a lighting Account Manager role. You must have experience within the Lighting industry and be confident in undertaking site visits and following up on new leads. The ideal candidate will have a creative flair must enjoy the technical aspects of the products. They will manage their own diary and must do so with maturity as this will be their own responsibility. You must be target driven and be looking to progress within the company.

The ideal candidate will have Lighting experience and have excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication, excellent commercial awareness, must be target driven, self-motivated and a real team player.
