Staffordshire and Shropshire Health Informatics Service (S&SHIS) is a shared service hosted by Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We provide a portfolio of ICT services to NHS organisations across the Staffordshire and Shropshire health economy.
We are looking to recruit a highly methodical and organised individual with the flexibility to adapt to working patterns to meet fluctuation in demand to assist in the development, maintenance and administration of SQL Server and Analysis Services databases, including the data warehouse and associated processing.
The Data Management Service collects, manages and prepares data from disparate data sources in a structured manner. Data feeds are processed through S&SHIS created routines and reassembled in a central Data Warehouse to provide a database which offers a high degree of referential and business-logic integrity for customer organisations. The service also supports internal data flows required by S&SHIS.
Supporting data flows between systems using a variety of relevant technologies, the successful candidate will have a sound technical grounding in the SQL Server Stack and experience of working with data warehouses and integration of data from disparate systems.
