Description We are looking for an exceptional Data Architect to join the Knowledge Graph team. The focus of the team is to build out a highly connected knowledge graph representation of people, companies, events and all associated risk factors. This is used to drive product solutions targeting the discovery and reduction of financial crime. As a Data Architect, you will be the custodian for all ComplyAdvantage ontologies, working with domain experts and product owners to obtain a full semantic understanding of our data, to represent this in a consistent set of models enabling a fully expressed knowledge graph of the risk world. See what our employees have to say on Glassdoor The Role We are looking for an expert Data Architect / Senior Ontologist to join our Knowledge Graph team. You'll get involved in: Working with domain experts and product owners to design and implement a full set of ontologies to describe the world of risk data collected, generated and used in ComplyAdvantage products Ensuring a common and consistent approach to modelling various source and product domains, ensuring standards and external good practices are adopted where appropriate Developing high quality annotations and documentation for each ontology to help use and adoption Developing close working relationships across product owners, engineering and domain experts to ensure a high level semantic understanding of our data and products What does success look like in 3 months You have ownership of the ontology for one domain area, such as Corporate data, and have established a view on gaps and improvements needed to fulfil business needs. You have in place a process to instigate changes to one domain ontology, enabling review and communication You have established an understanding of the overall business domain and own a roadmap for creating/adopting ontologies for each domain Requirements We value those who take initiative and pride in their work and contribute to an informal working environment.
