Position Summary  The Contracts Manager proactively manages all aspects of the contracting process and lifecycle for supplier and client related contracts. This role requires full contract administration responsibilities, including drafting, negotiating and administering contracts between PRO and its suppliers and clients. This position will also ensure contract templates, RFPs, client implementations, projects, reports, and other departmental functions are accurately maintained and run seamlessly. Additionally, the Contracts Manager will collaborate with management and advise as to the company’s contractual rights and obligations, to solve complex problems, and maintain negotiation and certification records. This role requires giving his/her team the support needed on negotiations, contractual terms and obligations, as well as other agreed upon deliverables. The Contracts Manager will maintain the department and company’s operational performance standards, quality work product in an efficient manner, and departmental initiatives. Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide support on various new compliance reporting/data tracking requirements.
  • Uphold PRO’s principles, business controls, ethics, policies and procedures and professional standards.
  • Serve as a key member of the contract review team with an emphasis on ensuring compliance with PRO’s established policies, procedures, and tolerances and communicate non-conformance or areas of risk to management.
  • Analyze contract requirements and determine use of appropriate contract structures/terms.
  • Provide key support for development and creation of new client contracts, independent contractor contracts, and staffing agency contracts for various international locations, which includes being responsible for the entire contract lifecycle, where applicable.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, payrolled workers, independent contractors, and staffing agencies ensuring that compliance is achieved and consistency of contractual obligations are met.
  • Responsible for reviewing, modifying, and finalizing all on-boarding/off-boarding documents (i.e., background screening/drug testing release forms, client policies and procedures, etc.)
  • Draft and finalize amendments to the client, independent contractors, payroll workers, and suppliers, as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners including Sales, International Services, Client Services, and Implementation teams to meet customer deliverables and deadlines.
  • Provide support and feedback for the development and implementation of international department processes and procedures.
  • Assist with mentoring junior staff and departmental training including but not limited to: the contract process, complex legal issues, and international contracts.
  • Provide ongoing support to the department/company including but not limited to leading special projects, reporting, distribution of contract templates to sales, SOP updates, etc.
  • Update departmental client reports, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the management team to support the development and implementation of the operational infrastructure designed to accommodate the business’ growth objectives.
  • Deliver superior quality results with a continuous view of strategic objectives.
  • Continually meet contractual service levels and maintain compliance with other contractual requirements.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with relevant business groups within PRO and PRO’s clients; strong client focus and demonstrated commitment to outstanding service delivery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of diverse individuals; ability to work collaboratively and as part of the Contracts team that is dispersed geographically.
  • Able to respond calmly, creatively and quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, legal research skills, and organisational skills with an ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise judgement, thinks practically, is solution focused, and maintains a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative, problem solving and decision-making.
  • Takes ownership of large-scale projects and has a strong work ethic.
  • Highly motivated and proactive.
  • Deep understanding of contract law ranging from employment contracts, client contracts, and corporate policies.
  • Familiarity with contingent workforce industry is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
  • Familiarity with relevant UK and EU Privacy and Data Protection laws
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Experience in the staffing industry
  • Experience with international contracts
