CLERK
SALARY: LC2 c.£24982 - £35745 pa (pro rata)
Lakes Parish Council, based in Ambleside, is looking for a new Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer, ideally to start on 1 April 2021.
The successful applicant will have excellent working knowledge and experience of local government, and possess good management, administrative, IT and financial skills, with an ability to communicate and work closely with Councillors and the local community. Ideally the Clerk should be qualified, though training and support towards an CiLCA qualification will be given.
Hours are by arrangement but are likely to be around 30 per week. Office based in Ambleside for four days a week, but with the requirement to respond to occasional issues at a weekend.
