We have embarked on a growth agenda and has an ambition to grow its asset base, increase margins, improve operational ways of working, improve customer and client experience and increase its social responsibility. Treasury has a critical role to play in the Group realising its improvement and growth ambition - this is an exciting role to come and join the team!
You will support the delivery of an effective treasury management service across the Group in areas of management accounting, daily & monthly accounting processes in City Financials/Business World, analysis and commentary for budgeted/forecast amounts, regulatory reporting and Year end disclosure analysis for the Annual Report. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely and effective Reporting & consolidation of periodic and ad-hoc Cash data (actual & forecast), per timelines, to PfP Management, supporting HCA reporting, Credit Rating Agencies and supporting other Banking Counterparty requirements.

You will be a qualified accountant who would describe themselves as ambitious and driven. It is essential that you have experience of financial controls, year-end accounts preparation experience and knowledge of liaising with internal/external auditors. You will enjoy working autonomously with defined objectives and deadlines; the treasury team enjoy taking ownership of individual tasks and projects. In order to be successful in this role you must have the ability to switch between tasks quickly and easily without losing focus.
It is a pre-requisite that you enjoy stakeholder engagement and can build and maintain effective working relationships. You will be an intermediate/advanced user of Excel and be highly proficient using various different systems, experience of using Business World would be beneficial.
