Lead Architect – Treasury Balance Sheet Management Job ID:R0032539 Listed: 2021-01-20 Regular/Temporary: Regular Location: London Position Overview Job Title: Lead Architect – Treasury Balance Sheet ManagementCorporate Title: Vice presidentDivision: TechnologyLocation: London Overview: The Chief Technology Officer for Risk, Finance and Treasury team works closely with the engineers and programmes in the domains within Group Chief Information Office, providing centralised oversight, standards and strategy. We lead the creation of clear and consistent roadmaps across the domains that align to a holistic strategic architecture that is consistent with Deutsche Bank’s goals and provide the enabling tools, standards and governance processes. Key Responsibilities: Supporting and driving definition of key aspects of the Strategic Architecture, identifying and resolving gaps or key issues Collaborating with wider Risk, Finance and Treasury Chief Technology Officer team to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between Treasury and other functions Engaging with customer-facing divisions, operational teams, support and regulatory functions to ensure alignment with strategic architecture Contributing to standards, policies, best architectural practise and the process to govern against these standards Reviewing conceptual designs and architectural blueprints for quality assurance and consistency Leading the design and development of the domain-level roadmaps Ensuring the quality and consistency of architecture artefacts across the embedded architecture domains (e.g. system flows, data flows, conceptual designs, and application/information models) Collaborating with the technology teams to establish the target state architecture and related delivery for programmes Performing specific analysis/design efforts as needed and constructing responses for consumption at all stakeholder levels Skills & Qualifications: Practical experience of working on large scale reporting and analytics platforms Experience in conceptual, functional and solution architecture definition Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills, including excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (speaking and listening) and stakeholder management (all levels up to Managing Director) Relevant Financial Services experience, with good knowledge of at least one domain from Risk, Finance and Treasury Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery Proven ability to balance business demands and Information Technology (IT) fulfilment in terms of standardisation, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility Background in a lead architectural role in business, operations and change management, able to perform at a lead level and influence strategic decision-makers and functional stakeholders Business or IT Architecture experience; specifically designing and implementing an integrated platforms from a functional or technical perspective Financial and regulatory reporting architecture; specifically design of a reporting architecture that facilitates the creation, publication and distribution of reports both on a regular basis and on ad-hoc Experience of developing and managing governance processes About us and our teams Deutsche Bank is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
