Payroll Manager

An excellent opportunity exists to join a friendly payroll team environment of this professional firm. The role is ideally suited to someone who has solid experience within a previous Payroll Manager position with expertise running weekly, monthly, quarterley payrolls and year end reports.

THE ROLE:

The role involves being responsible for overseeing and processing of client payrolls, ensuring the each payroll is processed accurately and within the required timeframes. Key responsibilies are to co-ordinate and direct the payroll preparation, processing and distribution. With a keen eye for detail, excellent communication, team working and time planning abilities additional responsibilies will include the following:

• Overseeing and instrumental to running of weekly, monthly, quarterly client payrolls
• Preparation and conducting reviews of payroll account reconciliations
• Review of payroll reconciliations
• Maintenance of accurate account balances
• Ensure all payroll information and data records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
• Provide support to all internal/external audits related to payroll
• Compilation of data from varied data sources
• Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production, policies and procedures

In addition, the sucessful candidate will possess strong proficiency in relevent accounting and payroll software.

SALARY: c £26,000 with benefits!
